True, false, little bit true, mostly true???
False. Caffeine does not affect the pancreas or insulin production at all. Stopping drinking coffee won't make your diabetes go away. But, having said that, caffeine does affect blood sugar. It stimulates the production of stress hormones, which increase glucose production by the liver.
