No it doesn't automatically erase the data. Although I erase my meter test results once in a while as it can take a while to download 450 odd test results each time I synchronise with my computer, but only after I have backed up the results on my computer. I printed all my results out, but it eats so much paper, i think next time i will just take in my laptop save the trees.
