I disagree that it is hard to be in control as a type 2 on oral meds. I have not had an a1c over 7 in years. My fasting is staying pretty much in 2 digits and my doctors say I am doing great.

I am losing weight about 2 pounds a month again great with my doctor. So it is very possible to be on oral meds and well controlled. It is a matter of discipline and I am offended by type 1s who say it is not.
