Liz, for the weight loss, I am not counting calories, but instead have cut down my carb intake to a fraction of what Iused to eat. So no white bread, rice, potatoes, chips etc. No ice cream or sweets, no chocolate...you get the idea! Basically I am just eating healthy stuff..lots of salads, greens, I am a vegetarian so no meat, plenty of low fat low sugar yogurt and cheese and afew nuts. It is working for me

The main huge difference I have made is going from a couch potato to someone who exercises. I started off doing a 30 mins a day walk, 5 times a week. I am now up to an hour and a half, 5 times a week. I have tried so many diets but never stuck to an exercise regime. Whilst I still dont love it, I am convinced that it has doubled my overall weight loss efforts.
