| You can indeed lose weight with the D. I've lost somewhere in the neighborhood of 51 pounds since Jan. 1. I've totally revamped my diet and I walk 20-30 minutes most days of the week.
I shoot for about 100 grams of carbs per day. I don't count calories that much. Mostly, I focus on keeping my portion sizes small, avoiding sugar when I can (I am not obsessive about this).
You can lose weight! Find a food plan that works FOR YOU and you will do well.
