You need more numbers for any shot of us guessing. What is the breakdown of your cholesterol? A high triglyceride was my first tip off while the other numbers were good.
I do know people who are related to diabetics who test good repeatedly but they still exhibited symptoms like low blood sugar would if they don't eat
As far as your gout, I took the pills when i first got it and it did not work, doc said more pills but I only got sick. Found out about celery seed and cherries. Ate half a jar of merichino cherries 2 days in a row and the gout disappeared a couple of days after that. You also need to cut down on salt and eliminate diuretics for a couple of weeks.
Mine started with too much left over ham so now I know. As soon as I feel discomfort, I rehydrate and maybe some berires and I am good to go.
