I have noticed that when I sweat a lot outside and I get dehydrated that I do get gout attacks. I have to really stay hydrated or the gout really comes. I guess I have had more attacks in the past year with a new girlfriend that ever in my life...lol Stress can also cause gout attacks. It was amazing to see that skinny people can also have gout. Then while researching diabetes I found that gout and diabetes supposedly go hand in hand. I always heard the "rich man's disease" but I also thought of it as the chubby chap's disease. lol
