GrapeNuts are one of the more glycemic cereals out there...

Even Type 1's like myself often split their fast-acting insulins to cover the "boom" of cereals...

I lived on GrapeNuts in college...but, I walked miles everyday then...so I guess that helped...those were pre-meter days...who knew?

You could have had two KrispyKremes to equal the carbs in your "healthy" breakfast cereal...hard to imagine, isn't it? Be sure to read the nutritional label for carb content and match it up to the serving size on the same label. Chances are the serving size of the GrapeNuts in only about 1/3 cup of so...so you probably had a double whammy of carbs.
