Good morning Becks. I'm pretty new on this forum but not new to diabetes. I know that frustration of trying to find meds that work for you - I've been through a bunch recently and the side effects just weren't worth it. I'd go into each new medication hoping that "this would be the one" and each disappointment seemed worse than the last.

I know there are many people here who can give you much better advice than I can. Keep in mind that some meds need to come up to therapeutic levels for them to work properly and some side effects will lessen/go away. (I'm on metformin and it took me awhile to get used to what I call the "gluco-poops" and the timing of taking the meds with food so that I had the least gastrointestinal side effects.)

Glad to hear that your daughter is going to be okay. It sounds like you have a lot of stress on you right now - please know you're not alone. I'm glad you shared here.
