| welcome aboard! Well my friend you may have admitted a big portion of the problem for you up front. Change your mind set to I can control my eating! This is one of the big challenges for all with the big "D".
The next is find a way to get some exercise. Even if it is just walking 20 - 30 minutes a day. If you can no longer walk try seated aerobics!!!! Any thing to burn some calories.
Do tell us more about yourself so maybe we can give more input. Like what meds are you on? Type 1, 1.5 or 2? etc.
