This is were people become confused. Lowering carbohydrate levels to very low levels in order to achieve a lower (normal) HbA1c reading is not a sign of reversal, remission or cure. It's merely a sign that a pre-diabetic is keeping BG levels under control.

A normal person can eat plenty of carbs and still show normal.
