Thanks for looking that up Mike... I do go straight in, I will try the angle... I have always had the stinging ouchy on certain shots, I do use it at room temp and it's more burning stinging than that cold feeling.. Occasionally it is a blunt needle I think, but it feels bit more like my nerves are really tuned in to the pain.. I am not in the least phobic about the shots, but I notice I am starting to hesitate a little because of it .. Come to think if it my finger pricks are bothering me more too..
Don't have any rash, though I've always said Novorapid made me feel a little funny when I first take the shot (about 15 mins later a buzzy head)
I did have allergy testing (unrelated) a couple of yrs ago and I think the doc tested insulin, just in case.. no allergies at all.

I do suffer from pretty bad facial neuralgia, which is easily set off, hope this isn't a similar complaint...eek!
