it takes some time for metformin to build up in the system, and it made virtually no difference to my bsl (as bluesky has explained).
i did lose weight and that started very quickly, however at a price. i have horrible stomach cramps and pains and also very bad diahorrea. massive loss of appetite.
in my own opinion i think it works for some and not for others... if it works for you great! if not, there are heaps of other options

I couldn't take it either nor did it help with my BG. It only made me sick.
