I don't go that long. I will use a lancet about 3 or 4 times before I twist the plunger. I have insurance, so my copay for the lancets is only $10 USD. I now have almost a full box extra. I plan to continue to fill on the soonest available date, and donating my extras to foundations that help those that can't afford to buy them.
