| I bought the USB stereo cable and it works just fine. Apparently there is a USB cable that inserts into the strip port on the meter. My advice is just get the stereo cable if you have a Freestyle Lite or a Freestyle with the stereo (looks like a headphones port) port. Stay away from the serial cables unless you feel like playing Twister with your computer. Most serial ports on computers are not all that accessible.
I ordered mine from MiniPharmacy, paid the the 32.99, got a REFUND after my cable arrived. No idea why I got a refund, but I'm not complaining. Maybe Abbott is reimbursing MiniPharmacy for the cable and the customer then receives their money back? So far it has saved me a ton of time over manually entering all my BS numbers. |
