| I didn't want the 13 carb points a day, but after the dietician looked at my 2 day meal plan of the foods I ate, very low carb, she said I wasn't getting enough. She is basing this on a 1500 calorie a day diet and it's very balanced. I'm not a big bread eater and some other good carbs, but she must know what she's talking about. I have NOT gone back to eating what I was before dx'd and I won't. This has been a big wake up call for me and I plan to do the best I can to get my numbers down. I'm only in week 3 of working with the docs and dietician. I'm sure, with trial and error and reading in here too, I'll do better. |
