Nice. I had a home flock for a while in a different time and place (long story... even had some bee-hives and made my own maple syrup). What kind of chickens are you raising? We had a farmer close by who bred historic varieties so we had a selection.. including, Rhode Island Reds and Arauncanas

Obesity and Type 2 are strongly associated. Most people assume that Obesity is the cause and Diabetes the effect. It is equally valid to suggest that the underlying metabolic disorder which leads to the Type 2 causes the Obesity.
