That's what I can't understand. Doctors and the ADA tell us that we need to check our bg levels often to avoid complications but with the rising costs of everything, how is the average American supposed to accomplish this? The rising cost of insulin pumps is what concerns me now. I may have to go on one to better my control but what do I do then when I can't afford it. The government really needs to take a closer look at what the medical industry is doing. Sorry to rant but this makes me mad!!!!
