For how long are you going to test at 3am? You shouldn't need to do it for too long, to get a decent basal profile worked out so you can just forget it. I mean, it is of course your choice to test at 3am as long as you want, but one would hope the pump's basal adjustments could render it unnecessary after a while.

As for the clothes, yes I know what you mean. These days, I just disconnect, get dressed, connect. Sometimes I catch myself trying to juggle pump and getting into jeans and have to remind myself there is a better way... dump the pump for a minute.
