First off, wanted to welcome you to the family!

It sounds like you very well might have Diabetes. I personally recommend that you see a doctor immediately and have blood work done. Often, a person can feel symptoms of a low sugar, when in fact sugar levels might be running high. Following are some symptoms as posted on the BD website:

Type I Symptoms can include:

1. Excessive Thirst
2. Frequent Urination
3. Rapid Weight Loss
4. Excessive Hunger (body feels malnourished)
5. Blurred Vision
6. Fatigue
7. Fruity smell to breath
8. Wounds that do not heal
9. Loss of Consciousness
10. Itchy Skin
11. Numbness and tingling in hands and/or feet
12. Sugar in the urine (via testing)

Type II Symptoms are in most cases, very similar to type I. However, each individual may react differently, or experience unique symptoms. Personally, I experienced Frequent Urination, Excessive Thirst, Pale Skin, Rapid Weight Loss (except for the abdominal region) and white lesions on my tongue (due to dehydration). All the things you stated in your post sound very similar to what I experienced also. It seemed no matter how much I ate, I was always hungry (and thirsty) - Nothing helped. My grandmother came to visit and saved my life, as she persuaded my mom to take me to the Pediatrician. That's when I found out my sugar was 400! I don't mean to alarm you, but eating and drinking sugars (i.e. oj) is not a good thing for someone who may be Diabetic. The best thing to do is get in to a doctor as soon as possible and have blood work done. Also, in the meantime, try to drink water instead of orange juice. Hope this helps and please keep us posted.
