There are lots of success stories, but there are risks too. However, there are risks in pregnancies when mums don't have diabetes!

The most important thing to do is have good control before you get pregnant. Also, learn ways to de-stress before you get pregnant, so that you can use those techniques while pregnant. If you get all freaked out with the highs you are bound to have every now and then (hormonal craziness), you'll go even higher due to the stress!

Plus, if your baby isn't 100% perfect, it's not the end of the world. There are many valuable people in this world who have little "defects"!!
