Erratic Reads.

As a pre Diabetic I have been watching my numbers for nearly two years now.. I have been rather disturbed to find recently that my numbers were running higher seemingly no matter what I did to change.. Exercise, less carbs, ect. Depressing.

My morning readings just kept creeping up from my old near 100 readings, to 136 the other day.. After meals were also higher than I was used to.

Then I took the Reli-On meter I was using and checked it against the One Touch I had stopped using about a year ago do to cost of strips.. For 24 hours I checked several times the two.
this mornings was the most dramatic.. I had a 126 on the Reli-on and 94 on the one touch.
Yesterday I had 136 on the Reli-On and 109 on the One Touch.
After dinner last night I had 130 on the Reli-On and 103 on the one touch.

I admit it seemed odd that things were slowing creeping upward with no seeming reason, but I was just afraid it was a natural pattern. At one point the two meters were only a few points different, but something evidently has gone wrong with the Reli-On meter. I feel better, but wonder why it should have gone so off?
