I decided to join this group after surfing the forums on this site and I found myself laughing at various comments. This forum seems to have more younger people posting. I am in my mid 40's and I value my lack of maturity . Anyway, it keeps me laughing. I try to look for the joy in life, though it's not always easy.
In my case, being diagnosed with diabetes was a good thing. I could have had a heart attack which can give you no warnings. I have since adjusted my eating habits dramatically and I have lost a lot of weight. I now need to incorporate a work out schedule and quit smoking. For anyone that was going to tell me how bad smoking is for me, spare us both, I have been informed! It's on my list of things to do. I am a work in progress.

Thanks, Stef ( A.K.A. Justifiable)
Welcome to the forum. When you decide to quit smoking ask your doctor about zyban or welbutrin. IMO the best way to quit smoking. I smoked for 27 years (I started at age 11) took zyban for three days and just decided I didn't need to smoke any more. 7 years later and I still smoke when I am dreaming(sleeping).
Maybe the sleeping world is the real world and this world is nothing more then a nightmare! How would we know.
