| I have the 722 which I believe is identical to 522 apart from capacity. I can confirm that % temp basals are "uneditable" once set.
I didn't realise you did get more options if you set the rate rather than percentage, is that true? Although, like you I would only want to use percentage, especially considering my complex basal pattern.
I did have a few thoughts about how it was inconvenient to have to cancel and start again any basal change. But I suppose I shruggd that aside. If you previously had it better, it would be more frustrating.
Editing would be good. What I would also particularly like would be a DELAYED temp basal, for example if you are exercising and know you need one to start in 2 hours for a few hours (as I often do).
I also wish you could tell it to keep temp basal settings intact after pausing or other "interrupting" events. If there is a long term temp basal in place and you suddenly have to change your reservoir, I don't understand at all why it should be automatic to cancel the temp basal. This has caused serious interruption to my pump use at times, especially as it's easy to forget where you are up to in a longer temp basal, and once it's gone the info is gone.
Little niggles like this and more are making me start to think seriously about moving pump brand if/when I get the opportunity.
