I don't know conclusively if cinnamon works, either (and it supposedly hasn't been proven to be any help for Type 1s, which my husband and daughter both are).

And I think it would be difficult to eat 1 to 2 tablespoons of cinnamon every day. Does the dietician have any specific recommendations?

That said, my daughter and I both like cinnamon on our morning cereal, and I like to eat cinnamon and Splenda in plain yogurt.
