I think you made a good choice with the Egg salad. I recently started playing golf after 25 years of not playing. Played a competition (charity one for fun) on Friday, first 18 holes in 25+ years, they had a nice touch, between 9th & 10th hole they had a BBQ serving burgers/hotdogs, I got hotdog without bun, they thought I was odd not having the bun so gave me an extra frankfurter

I keep a carton of orange juice in my bag, with a pack of peanuts. But don't expect to need either as when I exercise my numbers actually rise and don't drop until about 40 minutes after I finish exercising.
I'm also careful to make sure to have a bottle of water with me, especially if its warm.
