My dad would often give us a tea made from horehound and skullcap for our allergies when I was a teen, (tasted terrible!) I found that a little lemon juice helped cut the bitterness though. I need to study up on my herbs and where to get them. Give me some more info on the micro-current device, that sounds interesting! I happen to be an aviation mechanic so anything really high tech like that catches my attention easily!
