Fuzzyjon, et al.,

I'm an avid cyclist (primarilly tandem bicyclist -- something that I enjoy with my wife). We've been at it for over 13 years and I've lost over 75 pounds (Linda dropped over 25), reduced my BG levels as well as cholesterol, blood pressure and resting heart rate.

Our initial cycling started with single bikes -- that didn't work for us as a couple. And our early tandem rides were less than five miles and we were exhausted from that effort. Now a 22 or 25 mile ride is a regular daily occurence and doesn't leave us exhausted for the day. Club rides are usually in the 35 to 60 mile range on weekends.
