I really never worry about my open bottles of insulin. I refrigerate at home, but on vacation they are just kept in a cool place. If you are camping or going someplace hot with no refrigeration you can use a Frio pack. They are available all over the internet. You soak a Frio pack in water and it is a pouch that will keep your insulin cool without refrigeration.
