BG Rise per Gram of CHO?

i have been keeping some data to work out how many points my BG will rise per gram of Carbohydrate consumed. Has anyone else done this?

it turns out (with the data that i have so far) that my BG (2 hours post prandial) will rise by 4.3 mg/dl per gram of CHO with a standard deviation of 2.6. (That is 0.24 +/- 0.14 mmol/l).

this allows me to decide what to eat based on my pre-prandial number.

Bernstein reckons that (for someone with no insulin) the rise should be about 5 mg/dl per gram of CHO.

Interesting? Boring?
