Good news!

Well I am pleased to say that I will pumping in 6 months or so if all goes to plan. I was surprised how quickly the idea was jumped on, I thought there would be a lot of resistance from the NHS which really goes to show it’s a postcode lottery as to if you get a pump or not. I managed to convince them that I don’t need carb counting training so hopefully that will decrease lead time to pumping. I also persuaded my GP Doctor to increase my strips from 200 to 300 which is also good news. Started using the Accu-Check Multiclix which I have to say has been an improvement over the softclix, no more messing around with needles and no doubt they are both better than my old Autolet impression. All things are positive for a change other than my bg is a bit messed up this month, can’t have everything.
