My endo has recommended I take a multivitamin and I haven't noticed any effect on my BG readings. I take extra vitamin D, but other than that, I take a kiddie chewable vitamin. Dr. H. said he's had good luck recommending them. Three kiddie vitamins are equal to one adult vitamin, and they're usually a little sweet, and not like taking ANOTHER pill. He also said he feels the absorption rate might be a bit better with three smaller doses per day. He said adults are certainly more likely to take them, rather than face swallowing another horse pill every day. The psychology certainly works where I'm concerned! LOLOL.
