Hello- new to the boards
I just prescribed janumet a montha go after having a few fasting BG tests that were high. I have known my BG were on the high side but the drs never seemed concered. After a recent physical, the Nurse practicioner recommended Janumet. I have not experienced side effects but since I wasn't monitoring my BG before I don't know if it has made a difference. I was told the weight loss could occur since the drug empties the stomach slower which makes you feel less hungry several hours after eating. I cannot tell you if that has really been the case( I am not overweight). i do know I have been watching what I eat a bit more carefully since the physical. I go back for another A1C in october...I guess we will see. |
