I was expecting a local anaesthetic but the Surgeon said as I needed 3 fingers doing a General would be better. Wow how was it with 5? I hope you weren't in any discomfort during the operation as that is also why my Surgeon opted for a General. I had the bandages taken off yesterday and now have to wash my hand a few times a day and apply gauze. I have the stitches removed on Tuesday. The incisions are feeling very tight but I am in a lot less pain now - yeah! How are you doing? Will you need physio?
