I had no pain during the surgery and in fact, my whole hand was numb for the next 24 hrs. Now all the feeling is back. I can't take off the dress till tomorrow, but already the hand feels better than before the surgery. I guess I will see the stitches tomorrow when the dressing comes off. I go back to ortho Thursday to have the stitches out.
I can actual bend and move the fingers now BETTER that before the surgery, so I doubt I will need PT. They gave me a whole page of exercises to do with my hand and so far, it is going well.
