with LADA,Why I started with a large number of insulin ?

Most people started with 1-4 u daily but I started with shot 4 times daily and TDD with 29u to control my BS well

2008 A1C = 11% and Dx T1
2009 A1C = 5.5%
Insulin: Humalog + Lantus
