Experiencing Stomach Pain. Need Feedback

I began experiencing stomach pain yesterday. I took my Lantus shot in the a.m. like I always do - that was about 8:30 a.m. Around noon I developed stomach pain and began to feel bad all over. The pain eventually moved around to my back.
I went to bed early and took two ibuprophen for the pain.
My torso was very hot to the touch.
Long story short, do any of you ever experience stomach pain?
BTW, when I got up this a.m. my bg was 249.
I took my shot and a Glipizide. Was really shocked to see my bg so high on waking.
I'm just a bit confused about all of this.
