What meds are you taking, and what are you eating? Hard to suggest with more info.

Diagnosed type 2 on 11-11-06. Wgt 251, A1C 6.1
Diet control only!
Currently 177 lbs, A1C 5.6, cholesterol 160, LDL 95,HDL
53, triglycerides 37. BP 110/70
