I have found a quick snack that is yummy - dubliner cheese sliced in sticks with raw orange pepper slices. Odd combo but oh so good. And if you cut up a bunch ahead of time it's quick.

Welcome - there are quite a few vegetarians here so they might have some great ideas to get protein without meat.
