| I keep one in .rtf format, which is basically Microsoft Word. I also keep a glucose level diary the same way. I save them both as .pdf files after every update. Here is an example. Sept 25.
2 servings of instant oatmeal. 18 carbs and 100 calories each serving.
1 tsp of margarine 0 carbs and 80 calories
2 pieces of sausage, 0 carbs and 85 calories each
Total carbs is 36. Total calories is 450.
Glucose leel is 101. No insulin taken.
Lunch.
1 peanut butter sandwich of,
2 slices of wheat bread 11 carbohydrates and 50 calories each.
2 table spoons of peanut butter, one serving, 7 carbohydrates and 190 calories.
1 cup of skim milk. 0 carbs and 80 calories
Total carbs is 30. Total calories is 370.
Glucose level is 156. 2 units of insulin taken.
Supper.
2 chicken breasts, boiled. 0 carbs. 120 calories each.
2 tbsp of cheese type sauce. 4 carbs per spoon.
Total carbs is 8. Total calories is 275, estimeate for chicken and sauce.
1 1/2 cups of turnip greens 4 carbs and 35 calories per 1/2 cup serving.
2 slices of wheat bread toast 11 carbs and 50 calories per slice.
Total carbs is 30. Total calories is 480
Glucose level is 176. 3 units of insulin taken.
