Check again on the Januvia. When it was first released, joint pain was a mentioned side effect. Oddly, it has disappeared from the prescribing information. Many other consumers are reporting sudden onset of severe joint pain after starting Januvia.

Tell your doctor that it was a listed side effect in 2006.

And remember, Merck is under criminal investigaton in New Jersey for hiding information on the cardiac effects of Vioxx...
