Well...I had been doing the "Untethered Regimen", but have just recently gone back to relying on the pump alone...don't know exactly why, just thought I would try it again. Actually, my control was much better on the UR, but I didn't like that I was taking more insulin than I do just using the pump alone. On the UR...I generally took about 48-50 units of both Lantus and Humalog.together. Now on the pump I generally take anywhere from 30-40 units. However, if my control doesn't improve, I probably will return to the Untethered Regimen.
