I had acid reflux just before my big D diagnose. vegetables before bed relieved it. But I was bloated from the D and I sleep on my stomach. With the low carb and the weight loss, the acis reflux disappeared.
Some people have a weak flapper and there is not much you can do about that, but for most, a diet change is all that is needed. Problem is people would rather take a pill than change their ways. I think it's my body's way of making me do the right thing. That is also why I do the diabetes the natural way. I am just glad I attacked it soon enough to be able to.
