| The s/f apple cider I just can't hack. It tastes way strange. I don't drink it that often, so I just go with the leaded. Only about 10 carbs, which is what I'd have in a couple of squares of chocolate.
I do my own hot cocoa, too. I did use just the Hood's Calorie Countdown milk, but found it was a bit thin. Soooo, I took a page from Dr. Bernstein's book and used the Hood's, but also used heavy cream! Not a lot--maybe a tablespoon. Made a huge difference. No added carbs, either. But the cocoa was rich, creamy and had that wonderful foam on top. Delicious. I'd say about a 4:1 ratio. Four parts Hood's to one part cream. Worked well for me.
