I'm not a doctor so you need to get the direct answer from him/her.

There are more experienced people than myself here that could help you better, but your doc is probably suspecting that you might be prediabetic. The numbers aren't bad, but a little bit higher than normal.

If you keep going the way you have been going, you will eventually become Type 2 basically.

The good news is there's a ton you can do about it. Read alot here. Many people have been successful with going low carb (myself included), but it's not easy. Cut out the breads, potatoes, pastas, rices. My meals are primarily meats, most veggies, eggs, etc.... basically proteins and fats.
