The Contour is a fairly basic meter. In addition to marking results, it gives 7 and 14 day averages.

The advantages compared to the One Touch is that the blood sample size needed is about half as much, there is no strip coding, and you don't have to wait for the coding display to go off so it is much faster and easier to test.

The disadvantages are that you don't get all the extra features like graphing.

I test a lot, so I'd much rather use the contour because of speed and blood sample size needed.
