When my sugar is high, I feel tired and thirsty.

I used to wake up every morning with a very dry mouth and throat - to the point where I would literally gag if I didn't drink something right away - my fasting blood sugars at that time were ranging from 165-200 daily.

Since going on insulin, within the last 6 weeks I've been able to bring my fasting numbers down to the 98-120 range daily. The dry throat and mouth is gone!

Before going on insulin, my sugars were averaging in the 200's - after meals I would literally be so tired, I'd need a nap! Those episodes are also gone - again by a combination of low carb eating and taking insulin. I feel better now than I've felt in years!
