| Being from the US I don't understand your numbers, 6.0. I can tell you that in Pumping Insulin, John Walsh says to do the over night basal testing and BGs should not go up or down more than 20 mg/dl. I don't know what that translate into your figures but I am sure you can find out.
When I did my over night testing I only went up 9 mg/dl which I was very happy with. That was without eating dinner. When I do eat dinner I can go to bed with a BG of 100 mg/dl and wake up with something around 140, which is too high. I am in the process of tweeking my over night basal to compensate for maybe a slight case of gastroparesis.
