| While I like things like the color screen, pump colors, pump-meter communications, and the ability to bolus from the meter, I'm not at all pleased with the delivery speed.
I've experienced some major issues with sets due to the overly rapid delivery of the Animas Ping. The pump delivers either 1 unit every second (yes, I wrote that right), or 1 unit every 4 seconds (still, way too fast - at least for me). The other pump I have (Cozmo backup that I received from a friend) delivers insulin more slowly, so my sets don't stop working after a day to a day & a half like they do with the Animas. My BGs are also way better when I use the Cozmo.
I'm not trying to deter you from the Ping in any way. I like some of the features of the pump, but I think the overly rapid delivery speed is a Major flaw.
