just so you know...b12

so. I started metformin in august. last month I started having a tingly and on two occassions numbish toe then I started having muscle twitching. I asked my doctor, he thought it was my statin, took me off. but I still had twitching, thinks the tingling is my numbers coming crashing down. so i go on twitching...for days. so I call his office and he has little to say about it. this is my second doctor, can't seem to find a good one. so I look up muscle twitching on the internet. find b12 deffiency (sp?) so i know met can deplete b12, plus I am eating less than 800 calories a day (whole other issue) but I have not started taking b12. so I go get some liquid, sublingual b12. take it for 3 days, no more twitching...yet. I don't know about tingling, have not had that for a couple weeks.

why do I keep having to figure **** out on my own? I mean b12 depletion can cause permanent nerve damage. Why don't we just start taking it with metformin? too much can't hurt us.

I see an endo on the 8th, sure hope that goes better.
